Even before its renovation in 2022, the Ledge House Beach Hut was rated one of the top 5 Beach Huts in Britain (Guardian).  The Ledge sits on the shoreline surrounded by a huge south facing sundeck, private lawned garden and very comfortable open plan living room and kitchen looking out to sea.

Secluded yet within under 10 minutes walk to a supermarket, café and pub, this unique property offers privacy, luxury and comfort.

The Beach Hut has 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite toilet) Wi-Fi, tv, full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, large walk-in shower plus outdoor shower in the garden.

Near to local pubs/cafes/shops/restaurants and fabulous beaches/countryside walks.

Pets welcome upon request.

The space

If you love the sea and the beach, Ledge Beach Life offers you the opportunity to live right on the water’s edge. You can lie in the bedroom or on the sofa and watch the elements for inspiration.  The approach, first through a gravel car park the down a path to your own private gate and staircase; is reminiscent of an Enid Blyton adventure. Once in the Beach Hut, you have everything you need. You can also sit on your private deck or in your garden whilst watching the sun come up and the water line move in and out providing an ever changing magnificent view.

You can head out of your beach entrance gate onto Forelands Beach for a walk or swim if the mood takes you. A warm outdoor shower is available on your return.

Stock up with groceries and goodies from the nearby farm shop and supermarket and you will never need or want to stray far from this little haven.
